Pembroke & Allenstown Old Home Day offers many volunteering opportunities for folks of all ages...

We always welcome new members to the OHD Committee to share new ideas and assist throughout our Old Home Day celebration. If you can't commit to regular meetings, we'd still love to have you as a volunteer!

The Friday before Old Home Day is a busy one at Memorial Field. Our volunteers set up tents, run water lines, put out signs, decorate the stage, string guide ropes for parking and craft areas, put out trash receptacles, assemble our fabulous mini golf course and so much more. You don't have to be super talented or great with tools; our committee members will be happy to lead the way.

 

During Old Home Day, our volunteers assist with greeting guests at the Old Home Day Booth, help our parade coordinators, assist vendors, facilitate parking, assist in the children's area, help with traffic control, and help keep Memorial Field clean.

 

Sunday after Old Home Day we pack up our storage trailer for next year. There's plenty to do with cleaning up Memorial Field and areas along the parade route, and we're always looking for a helping hand!
 

High School students can also gain valuable Community Service Hours by volunteering before, during or after Old Home Day
