Pembroke & Allenstown Old Home Day organizes one of the best parades in the area. With marching bands, first responders, antique cars, floats, local organizations, farm equipment, and local businesses, we've got something for everyone! Our parade begins in Allenstown at 10:00 a.m. and finishes in Memorial Field in Pembroke. The Old Home Day events in Memorial Field begin after the parade finishes.

  • For the safety of everyone, particularly our littlest viewers, absolutely NO THROWING of candy or other items from any moving vehicle. Your group is welcome to hand candy or other treats to folks in the audience. This is strictly enforced.

  • Participants will be given a time and location for parade lineup. Please be sure your entire group is present and on time, as traffic on parade day can be challenging and we can't guarantee vehicle passage on all roads. We ask that floats, in particular, travel only on their assigned routes.

  • Pets must be leashed at all times, and please remember  for the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, pets are NOT ALLOWED in Memorial Field during Old Home Day. Please do not leave your pets in cars.

  • All float participant paperwork must be turned in before the Old Home Day parade. Please refer to the paperwork given to you for full details. Please ensure your group adheres to all state safety rules for floats.

  • Parade participants with animals must clean up after their animals immediately.

  • Please contact Jocelyn Carlucci at 603-491-9976 for information and participant contracts.
